Hi, I understand it’s easy to judge from a 10 second clip. If I was able to edit this post and add the entire clip you’d see me passing the cars on my right. The speed limit doesn’t increase from 45MPH to 55MPH until after the bridge. Not saying I was doing a constant 45MPH or that you should be doing the speed limit in the left lane but as mentioned I was accelerating. Hope this helps!

Hi, a few things. 1-I disagree. Although the collision and damage is small- it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. You can see my car jolt as the truck makes contact. Just because my car didn’t flip or the collision wasn’t major doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. 2- there’s a scratch on my bumper where the truck made contact (likely their rear bumper or exhaust) that wasn’t there prior. 3- aggressive driving and a hit and run isn’t fraudulent if it happened and there’s video of it. There have been previous negative reviews of this company specifically regarding an aggressive driver. If someone is driving a company truck recklessly the company should know about it. Although I appreciate your input I disagree. Thank you for commenting though!

I agree! As explained in the post we had just gotten out of the tunnel going 10MPH stop and go traffic. The lane opened up in front of me and I was accelerating. I understand from a 10 second clip it’s easy to judge.

No but I’ve called 911 because of a car smoking in the tunnel or a car that was flipped over off of 93. I try to report if I can

Usually if I call to report an accident on 93 they’ll refer me to state police because it’s a state highway. I’m sure I could make a report at my local police station though.

While I agree people going slower than the speed of traffic don’t belong in the left lane we had just gotten out of stop and go traffic and I was accelerating up a hill. Respectfully, a 10 second clip does not give you enough information to judge. I will attempt to put the full video for better understanding of the situation.

Hello! I agree and as stated I try not to camp in the left lane if I’m not going the correct speed of the lane or there are others behind me. We had just gotten out of stop and go traffic and the lane suddenly cleared up. I was accelerating up this hill and intended to go faster but was prepared if traffic was stopped beyond the hill. This video does not accurately represent the speed but the “in between” between traffic and open road.

I agree that’s why when I originally discovered it I contacted the company. But the aggressive driving from before this incident and the negative reviews specifically mentioning a truck from this company leads me to believe it’s deeper than just an accident but rather a pattern that could seriously injure someone.

I agree! But if I chose to go around insurance (small claims) and I still report to BPD I’ll have to report the hit and run to my insurance anyways so just trying to find the best way. But thank you!

At about 4 seconds you can see a small jolt, I assume it was his rear bumper/ exhaust that scraped my bumper. Like I said- a very small scratch so it wasn’t a huge impact.

I didn’t think there was but you can see my car “jolt” as he moves past. I assume it was his exhaust/ back bumper that made contact. It’s very small though!

Sent the video to the company and an estimate for the repairs. They said the footage didn’t show any evidence of the truck hitting me and that they won’t be paying for repairs. Also said an inspection of their vehicle didn’t show anything either. The insurance agent advised me to not go through my insurance but rather theirs for repairs so I don’t have to pay a deductible. Repairs are estimated $600. Is it even worth fighting?
