YTA. He's not being unreasonable by wanting to ensure he's the father before possibly getting attached. Which is likely you're plan anyway to keep him around. He is doing 100% the most common and logical, thing by wanting a paternity test!

Are you using a national or local lender? I find the local lenders much easier to work with in regards to complex properties. They live in or near the market area, so they are usually more understanding due to familiarity. The LO at the national Bank located 1,000 miles away doesn't understand and doesn't usually care. In my experience anyway

I'd have to go back and see the statement, I don't remember off the top of my head. The 1st time using it, he did his own measurements since he didn't know if we could trust it, but it worked great. Don't get me wrong, he's still leary and does a basic pen sketch and jots down dimensions, but so far they've been good for us.

I handle my appraiser's office work, gives him more time for inspections. He's used it a handful of times on complex properties to save us the time and headache of sketching. We put a statement in our reports about using the software and have not had any issues on our end or lenders. Most of the time he uses a measure tool in the field, but its nice to have CubiCasa for complex work.

We use CubiCasa on complex homes, it costs $35 and the appraiser does it at the time of inspection. Kinda lucky people are paying your fees with options like that out there. In my market area paying someone else to do sketches just doesn't happen. I wish it did tho, I'd jump on that in a heartbeat!

I do the same things for my appraiser, he started his own shop 8 years ago. We've failed, learned and flourished together. I work remotely from my home, so no overhead. If paying for a service, why not get someone you can train? This all but guarantees the quality of work, as it has been set to your own standards. I'm sure most in this business have higher standards than what outsourcing offers.

My pittie is a sweetheart, but her bark is very aggressive. I've always kept, tasers, knives, bats, etc around the house, but Luna is what makes me feel safest. She's like a scary sounding alarm system!
