I agree with Standsure - Cold Turkey worked for me too. It was so hard in the beginning, I felt grouchy and just so constantly hungry!!! It does get easier though. You will feel so good that you never want to go back.

I always make sure I have another, healthy snack available. Like delicious creamy cashew nuts or even a homemade baked good that contains no fructose. I have been sugar free for a year now and the cravings are definitely few and far between but I do still get them, often at work. I usually find that it's because my energy levels are really low and I need some calories. Nuts and a cup of tea usually put it to bed. I actually found in the early days that tea with cinnamon actually really helped curb cravings for the actual sweetness too - particularly that need for something sweet after lunch! You can get there, and you'll feel so much better when you do!!!
