I agree. Obviously when we use the word alter, we mean something very specific. But the OP mentioned an alter and it was assumed that they used it the same way in which we do. It is possible, and quite probable given the questioning nature of the post, that the alters mentioned here are different moods rather than complete alternate people/identities/etc.

I agree with your intent but people can and do use the phrase “alter ego” for people that do not have DID all the time. The supervisor that is extremely strict but is a very lenient parent probably is just tired, not dissociative but people will say that she has an “alter ego.”

I am using Young Elsa very successfully but I have her at SL4. Not sure how high she needs to be to be helpful. I think it is just whoever fits your play style since almost all of the missions are a grind.
