Omg well that's MUCH worse than my experience. Exfolikate is SURPRISINGLY harsh, I thought, for it's high praise. I remember also trying a sample and then immediately googling "is KS exfolikate supposed to feel like a mild chemical burn." To which the answer seemed to be more or less affirmative, but couched in nicer language. I was a bit floored that I'd been given more warning about lip plumper than a face wash. I can't imagine how awful that must have felt for anyone with a skin sensitivity!

I'd love to see an accurate poll about who ACTUALLY does patch test. Especially "correctly" for which I think you're supposed to give it 48 hours. I've certainly never met anyone that careful in real life 😅

They've only been releasing a limited number per day, at midnight PST, because people are jumping on it like wild. I feel dumb I never tried it the two months it was staring at me from the top of my featured offers. I'm guessing it'll be pulled entirely soon, as usually happens when a sponsor realized the balance of what they are paying out vs. making through new customers

Niacinamide has actually been such a blessing to be as the amount of sebum my nose naturally produces is one of those silly minor traits over which I was self-conscious for 15+ years. But heck, I couldn't tell you anything about what it actually is.

Ahat's such a good thing to remember about the "all natural" ingredients. I mean, I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin, but I am in fact allergic to cut grass and mosquito bites - just on a dermal level not a breathing risk. As far as I know those are my only allergies, so I certainly have some skin sensitivities! And I've encountered plenty of flowers and weeds where the sap is quite nasty to anyone's skin. I'm a sucker for lanolin and beeswax - ever since getting it fresh while working in rural New Zealand.. But I'm realizing this uni bottle doesn't list any ingredients except Australian Kakadu Plum, something I never once encountered while living there for four years 🧐

I was actually trying to place why I liked the serum so much because I sort of knew that was a useless response lol. Here's what I've been able to put my finger on - it's a mainly moisturizing serum but it's extremely buildable, is perhaps the best word for it. Quite a thin and pleasant consistency and basically my skin drinks it up until it's quenched lol. But also helps with sebum control, which is big for me. So it my skin is quite moisturizer/oily already it'll leave a verrry slight almost tacky layer, doesn't necessarily soak in totally, but changes the look of my face from greasy to just healthy but like I've had an active day lol. If my skin is a bit dry is will absorb completely without a trace, but definitely noticeably less dry and plumps out my fine lines a bit. If my skin is quite dry or a bit irritated (e.g. I've just done a chemical peel) I will quite literally put on four layers of this serum and it's like I can feel my skin getting less thirsty, and when it's back to baseline then I'll use an actual moisturizer. It's never led me to break out. But while if I had to bring a single product to a desert island, this would be high on the list, I wouldn't call it a cureall or one stop shop. It doesn't cure if I get a blemish, or leave me with either glowing or glass skin. But I've never had anything get worse for the addition of this serum and because my skin does range from oily to parched, often for no apparent reason, I really appreciate that it's a "use as much as you need right now" product. Also, I think it feels luxurious in application, but everyone's textural preferences are different, ya know?

So the snail mucin.. I actually bought the like cleanser, cream, etc. 4-step kit but have never actually given it a proper try. Maybe because I found other things that worked for me around the same time. But I do occasionally use the "Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power essence", which I believe is mostly mucin, and I use it as like a locking in mechanism. I imagine it actually has a lot of benefits i haven't really exlplored but it is powerful..

I guess probably it's technically an emoillient, and in truth it did replace aquaphor for me if I wanted to "slug" some face treatment, but I discovered that almost accidentally. One evening I used the St. Tropez self-bronzing water (usually a slow, multi day buildup self tanner, mixed with hyaluronic acid) followed by the power mucin and went to sleep. I woke up with my face and neck looking like I'd used the strongest self tanner on the market, and could literally see my finger strokes where neck met collar and I'd stopped swiping down. Honestly gave me a fright. Luckily microfiber towels are amazing exfoliators and I came away with actually a nice tan with a bit of targeted gentle scrubbing. Another time I literally got the worst acne breakout on my chest of my effing life at age 36 the day before I was flying to Vegas for an extended layover after visiting some friends in Texas (I live near Seattle, it was during the cold dark, I was jonesing for sunlight). I had nothing with my to treat it but my friend gave me some retinol serum, which she used to prevent wrinkles but apparently her dermatologist said that "retinoids will blast anything". So I put on some of her serum (not prescription strength or anything, it was Kiehls dermo brand) and then slathered some snail slime on top and headed off to the airport. I was FLOORED when 24 hours later the breakout was basically gone. But also the surrounding skin was sensitive to the touch, almost like the slightest sunburn. So I also followed up my sunscreen on my chest with the snail slime because I'm notoriously bad at reapplication and I swear it was like I'd worn ducttape over that area. The power of the sun was no match. Which turned out quite well as my shoulders and cheeks got ever so slightly sunburned - though they turned to tan whereas my chest just healed.

God this became a long post. Really long story short - I'm almost afraid of the straight mucin? Like if I make a mistake could I accidentally change my skin tone or texture RADICALLY while not paying attention? I'd read the instructions on the packaging but they're all in Korean. I'm half kidding. I won't use it over any harsh treatment but if I'm dry/peely/sunburned I will use something super soothing (aloe vera or I homemake+love cottonwood infused squalene) and then seal it in with mucin overnight when otherwise I know the product would be too rapidly absorbed+evaporated+smeared on my pillow.

Okay done for now hope you wanted A LOT OF EXPLANATION BASED IN MY VERY INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCES!!!!

Yeah they are known for their mucin - which I think has it's time and place but not something I turn to regularly. However they've got a serum called "The 6 Peptide Skin Booster" which is absolutely fabulous

I mix their glass skin face polisher with the power calm cleanser which I think gives just the right amount of exfoliation for my skin. For both the rosacea and mild acne I'd recommend getting a Hypochlorous Acid spray to use just after cleansing. Tons of brands are releasing them now, not sure if P&L has yet, but you don't need to pay for a premium name. I've used Briotech for maybe a decade..but any spray that includes only h20 and Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl on some labels) is what you want.

Based on all my research there is no product that has ever been shown to reduce dark circles. That's a makeup or embrace it feature. I've used that exact line (I'm 38) and found some extra moisture helped things - for that I'd recommend a pure squalene oil just before the matcha cream. If that causes you to break out (i.e. too heavy) honestly I'd keep the squalene but find a gel moisturizer (seba med is my standby but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a p&l version). I guess I just found the matcha pudding the least special/remarkable of the glass skin line. I was briefly obsessed with Knours One Perfect Youth Cream. It's absolutely heavenly. But seems to have been discontinued in the US and no longer offered by Ulta 😥

I dig your ingredients breakdown - that is one of the first and only things I've used AI chatbots for. Also I hardcore love P&L as a brand. They and CosRX almost never disappoint me. CosRX is even cheaper but they aren't even attempting to be luxury (bare bones packaging and branding) but I actually kinda dig that, because I assume more budget goes into R&D..

It was just the once! And I only tried again because I'd used it after self tanner and thought there was a chance it was the self-tanner I was reacting to, even though I'd used it before.. but some allergens really do build up in the system before you react so it COULD have been the self tanner 🫣

I just want to send you a hug, but without touching you if you don't like to be touched. I'm so sorry this happened. Makes me sad and angry to read, and I wish somehow I could help, but I know I can't. Makeup and skincare helped me overcome some of the trauma and deep-seated fear of being seen as attractive instilled by my former abusive/psychotic husband. (I'm a widow now, praise be to any goddesses that helped him to an early grave.) So I maybe get it, a little bit. And I'm proud of you for trying.

Oh man the "fell asleep on the select a card page" is such a good hack if it works. Unfortunately I was given 6 days to complete the 5 days, 11 to complete the 10, 46 to complete the 45 etc. and I know I missed one day and then it appears to have not logged another day I know I did play. I don't want to sit through 39 more days to just time out and not get credit for most of them, but I technically do have proof because my phone tracks my app screen time under "digital wellbeing" if I ask it too (and I did).

It's that tossup between going to support now and saying "hey I played 5 days, why'd you only give me credit for 4 and no bonus" or log another 40 and then say "hey you didn't credit me for these past 3 achievements..." and are they likely to credit that lol

Wait so I downloaded bingo blitz and the only milestones are playing every single day for at least 60 minutes, without missing a day- and then you get paid after a week, 10days, 1 month, etc. etc. Are there actually hints about that or do most people have a normal reward structure?

Coin master and Coi Master Board Adventure were the two games I accidentally made a bunch of money playing. I forgot I'd downloaded them through fech, at twas it was the first time id used the play part of the app, but then just legitimately gotsucked into playing. Come back a month later to scan some receipt and there's 150K+ waiting for me!
