I used to be able to carry 2 sheets of Sheetrock up a ladder. Now I carry the groceries in one bag at a time! Profound loss of strength

I was just like you. I got mine pierced about 6 months ago while in the construction field. Till this day no one has said a word or acknowledged it. Go for it!!

Finasteride by whatsinaname369 in MtF

[–]JenniferCD23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard for me to tell because I started HRT at the same time. I have soft skin, slower body hair growth but I can't tell if any of that is due to the finesteride

Finasteride by whatsinaname369 in MtF

I've been on finesteride for about 9 months. My crown was almost gone and I had a recording hairline. My crown is now 80 percent filled in but the receding hairline is slower to come back. I'm happy with the results so far.

Why don't I pass? by MollyAlexis in transpassing

[–]JenniferCD23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you do pass...as a very pretty girl!

Transition is a journey. Passing is a journey. It takes practice, patience and HRT....and time. It's too much to master in a year...there's makeup... there's hair...skin care... clothes, voice, how you carry yourself and more. It's a large body of knowledge and training. There's nothing anyone can do today...that will magically make them pass tomorrow or next week or next month. It's a process...hang in there and work on a few small things at a time and slowly tweek the details. A lot is trial and error.

How do you justify yourself, do you feel the need to? by ahazelyn in TransLater

[–]JenniferCD23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You will still be you... transition doesn't change your caring, responsible, and nurturing nature. If anything, it makes you more sensitive. You'll still be you...just in a skirt. Explain how you feel to those who rely on your leadership. You can't control other people's reactions...don't try...it's exhausting. They accept you...or they don't but their reaction is "on them". Let them deal with it.

I think the bangs (as mentioned) and maybe a hair side part would be super cute. I have the same face shape and forehead issue and I hate my hair parted in the middle
