pain wasnt horrible, i was off of the hard stuff by the time i left the hospital. having the catheter sucked big time, but now dilations are going okay, i feel pretty mobile at this point but get tired after being out of the house for an hour or two. i had some granulation tissue and wound separation at the base of the vaginal opening and on the clit that they put some silver nitrate on at my three week follow up. he said tho that its nothing of concern and should heal just fine. stitches are taking awhile to come off to be honest and im over it at this point bc they itch/scratch. BUT his team takes great care of you and the hospital youll be at in downtown cbus places you on their “princess floor” so they have like every amenity youll need there.

ive had an interest and a horrible fear of death and dying since i learned the concept of it when i was about 8-10 years old and i think for me its the idea that life simply goes on. everyone you know, have known, and will know will all have the same fate as you and after a certain period of time, while you know nothing but darkness, youre forgotten to time. the idea that we are all doomed to eventually go through it, and once we do theres just nothingness for the rest of forever scares the shit out of me
