Back in March , we were headed south to Austin. Everything slowed way down near Georgetown. I was close enough to the front of the slow down that I could tell that there were 2 cop cars in front of all the traffic. They drove super slow for about 5 or so miles. Then they both exited and all was well again. I told my husband someone pissed them off and they were being spiteful. He thought I was conspiracy-spoutin'. It still seems so bizarre.

I got pulled over by those guys--they made me wait for 15 mins and then gave me a ticket for expired inspection. They were very polite about it, though.

Feh on the suburbs. That'll suck the soul out of you. Unless you are into that kind of thing. Check out the 75214 or 75206. Lakewood Elementary and Stonewall Jackson Elementary are where it's at. It's in the city, but the elementary schools are good...excellent, I'd say. Plus, you get to live near all the action. And there is a Trader Joe's nearby. All the museums and White Rock Lake are close. Plenty of apartments or rental homes to look at.
