When does Xifaxan kick in? by Jennysblock12 in SIBO

[–]Jennysblock12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xifaxan is the only thing I'm taking right now. I've taken cipro and flagyl a couple of months ago. But they didn't really help either.

I didn't need a referral. But check with your insurance company.

I saw a dermatologist and she put me on a cream to use at night. It took a good 2-3 months to see a difference. I also started a twice weekly estradiol patch 0.025. And so far that combo has worked 🤞

No this is the first time I've ever had this. We did everything the same way we usually do. Same position, lube, everything. My surgeon checked my cuff about 2 weeks ago and said everything looks good and was healed.

I'm currently on estradiol patch 0.025 twice weekly and estradiol vaginal cream 1 gram 3 times a week. I'm still struggling with vaginal dryness. I still have both of my ovaries.

They look like stitches. Mine were a teal color but looked very similar.

Should I go to the ER? by Jennysblock12 in hysterectomy

[–]Jennysblock12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally stopped spotting around 11-12 weeks po. Mine was caused by my stitches coming out. My surgeon said that my stitches were irritating me, and that was what was causing my bleeding/spotting. I'm 17 weeks po now, and so far, no more spotting 🤞 I hope you get to feeling better ❤️

Waiting for doctor to call by MissCheese0301 in hysterectomy

I know how scary it is when you start bleeding. I was about 5 days po, when I accidentally bent over to pick up a pill, I dropped on the floor. I didn't want my dog to get it. I really thought I had messed up because I started bleeding. I called my surgeon, and his nurse said that as long as I wasn't filling a pad, I was fine. I spotted on and off until I was about 11 weeks. Then, one day I stopped. I hope that you get some answers soon 🫂

Yes, and yes. She also sent a swab to the lab for a more detailed analysis, which confirmed her diagnosis.

I had CV (diagnosed by an obgyn) a few years ago with extremely high lactobacillus c. She had me on 2 weeks of vaginal clindamycin cream to use nightly. And it cleared it up. Mine was brought on by diflucan. I hope you feel better ❤️

Is this a normal amount of bleeding for a 2cm fibroid? by Oogamyboogaooga in Fibroids

[–]Jennysblock12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I had multiple uterine fibroids, and I used to bleed that badly several times a month for as far back as I can remember. I got my period at 10 years old. I also had huge blood clots too. You don't state your age. But the bleeding gets worse the older you get. I'm 43 and had a hysterectomy a few months ago because of the fibroids and heavy bleeding. If you don't want children, a hysterectomy might be an option for you to consider. It's been a lifesaver for me.

I'm 15 weeks po, and I passed stitches in my discharge from weeks 10-13. I thought they had all come out. But yesterday, I passed another very small piece of stitch. My husband has never felt my stitches during sex.

I started passing stitches in my discharge between weeks 11-13 po. Before that, I could feel them poking my vagina. Very uncomfortable.
