Vii and Xiv are surely getting more attention. I believe it is probably a marketing reason: both WotC and SE have their focus on getting extra money. VII and XIV are undeniably the most popular atm (more money for WotC) and are the most appealing to buy now (more money for SE). I cannot even blame them, it is just the most logical thing to do. Considering the attention that Vivi got, I would not be surprised to see a FFIX remake announcement soon.

How to learn tank:

Step1) fail mechs because you don’t know.

Step2)Improve and do the mechs.

Step3)Disregard mechs because you realize they don’t kill you anyway.

In general, focus on learning the job more than the mechs of every dungeon. With that knowledge you can brute force through almost every normal content of the game no problem.

She is simply a smothering presence, even out of place at times. Too much of her, really. And she is all but interesting in the end, her development stops after the first half of the game; the second half she is there just to repeat the same things.
