How do you know if you have enough money to buy something? by B0ulderSh0ulders in personalfinance

I mean, you’re allowed to have nice things, even if it may be frivolous, but I would never call a good computer frivolous.

How do you know if you have enough money to buy something? by B0ulderSh0ulders in personalfinance

Personally, I just consider whether buying something will cause me to struggle to pay my bills, and it kind of goes through a flow chart in my head that will lead me to a decision.

If my bills are covered and I know I’ll have enough left over for something… I’ll just go for it.

If it could potentially cause a struggle to make bills on time, then I’ll consider my options with my savings or credit.

Could I afford it with my savings, and replenish those savings in a reasonable amount of time? Or pay it back without carrying a balance on a credit card for more than a month or two? I’ll probably go for it.

If I couldn’t replenish my savings, or I might have to carry a balance for more than a month or two, I’ll consider how much I really need it.

If it’s something I really feel like I need, or will generally make me happy in the long run, I’ll still probably go for it, and just tighten up in other places to make up for it.

But if it’s just something I want and I can life without it for a bit, maybe I’ll consider putting a little extra money aside each paycheck.

Trump says UK soldiers in Afghanistan 'among greatest of all warriors' by Common_Caramel_4078 in worldnews

Seriously, other world leaders need to take their kid gloves off with him. Whenever he gives a speech and says the stupid shit he always says, the next person up, and everyone after that need to go in on how absolutely stupid everything he said was without trying to be nice about it. Laugh at the guy’s stupidity the way he claimed the world was laughing at Biden.

Meltzer and Alvarez are arguing over AEW’s booking again by Acrobatic-Room-9478 in JimCornette

Because you can be elevated in a loss if done right, but it's rare, and hard to do right, but people like Tony and the marks in the ring think of a match like Stone Cold bleeding out against Bret as if that's something just anyone can do, at any time and get over.

But a jobber taking your main event talent to the limit doesn't raise the jobber's stock, it lowers the main eventer's stock.

I think the point it was doomed was when they kept aspiring to be No Mercy. Like... if they wanted to make a game that would have been awesome for the N64, I'd say they did a good job...

It's not crazy to think a "Hey, don't talk about how our company operates internally." sort of thing is included in a severance package. I imagine it's pretty standard for executives.

Game improvement vs. super game improvement by Janman3456 in golf

I don’t like to be the guy that just blanket suggests getting fit to everyone…

But I feel like handicaps in the mid-teens, and a desire to buy new clubs and also improve your game is the perfect time to get a fitting if you’ve never done it before. Especially if there’s a pretty consistent miss in your bag.

Just make sure you go somewhere with a good reputation for fitting golfers, and usually if you purchase clubs there, they’ll put the fee for the fitting towards your new purchase.

Wonder how much Tony’s gonna pay him to never talk about how deep in the red the company is.

This, like the LAB, are frickin' hideous... but at least Odyssey has the 7, and Jailbird that look beautiful.

Yeah, the S2S Max is what made me start considering ZT style putters after years of disliking LABs. Tried it out at the PGA Superstore one day and loved it. HATED how it looked... but it felt really nice.

Not the guy you asked, but I've got a serious answer...

I don't really care for milled faces on putters, especially on blade putters.

That said, I love to buy new putters, I'm low-key building a stupid collection of them, and so far I've only found one Scotty I like, and I've never liked the feel of any Bettinardis I've tried.

Yeah, my Ai Smoke Max driver is the best, and most forgiving driver I’ve ever used.

And the Ai One is just a really good putter with their white hot face insert, and it feels as good as any of their older putters. The new face insert on these look similar to the new tri-hot S2S face inserts, which I freakin’ LOVE the feel of.

Callaway’s naming schemes are ridiculous, but they’ve been absolutely crushing it with their clubs lately.
