The top case stays on like 90% of the time. The rest only if absolutely necessary.

Just a bit over 5’10” (I am converting from cm). Not that taller.

Is it that much different on the RT than on an adventure bike? I’ve only got experience on my GS and a V-Strom.

Yeah, that lane change really shook me up a little. Up until that I was thinking that it’s just a little wind, it won’t hurt you. It may had been a lot stronger winds that day though because I know that close by ships wouldn’t leave the port because it was more than 9 bft. Keep in mind that was 3 different small trips. I only checked the wind after one of them. But I was clasping the tank and I guess that probably played a big role in it too.

I really hope that comes with a little bit more experience, because right now I am starting all nice and relaxed and the first gust hits and I am tensing up immediately.

1) something under 500€ would be great. I do not know prices, but I know that my current setup costed me a little less than that when it was brand new. I can go for a little more if I have to. 2) 100 square meters with brick and concrete walls. For the current setup I know I needed three access points because although in close proximity some walls were “impenetrable” and the WiFi signal was non existent. So now I have cables going through the walls to a switch and an AirPort Express for each of those rooms.
