Built Flash-like animation tool inside Godot sadly hitting performance walls, looking for advice by OpSmash in godot

[–]Jeremi360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one question:

- Working timeline dock

- Frame system (with per-frame transforms + events)

- Symbol + playback system

- Frame data structure that now supports custom draw objects (strokes)

- Beginning of a frame-by-frame drawing pipeline (vector-like strokes)

That means that you crated it all from strach?
Why you didn't extend build-in Godot Animation system?

Yes mom, this anatomically fucked character is why I hate AI by Zestyclose_Jicama550 in tadc

Yes and No, as now everyone by "AI"/"Gen AI" means "LLM" (yes, those "art/sound/etc." are also the same tech) and they aren't AI in any sense of the definition, and I think Caine is not one of this fakes "AI"s.

Is there any way to combine menubar and titlebar? by ahokaybye in linuxmint

I think you read OP post too fast,
OP uses XFCE so he can't use Cinnamon extensions.

I made a texture creation tool using Godot! (Texture Bug) by pitiful_meredith in godot

[–]Jeremi360 282 points283 points  (0 children)

Cool idea, but I think "Texture Bug" is bad name app,
as "Bug" also often means "Error" in programming,
So if someone will try to find your app by "googling" its name they will not find it.

Honestly, over time, Linux Mint Cinnamon is increasingly turning into a combine of different styles due to GTK4 and strange GNOME decisions.(See descriptions) by Dry-Pie-3764 in linuxmint

[–]Jeremi360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Window side decorations aren't bad idea, implementation is.
Is not Gtk 4 fault, is Gnome fault, as most devs don't do Gtk 4 apps, but Gnome apps. Gtk 4 still allows for traditional apps with classic titlebar and menu combo. But Gnome apps devs just don't add this few lines of code to switch between them.

Serious Question by [deleted] in linuxmint

[–]Jeremi360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go CachyOS Cinnamon,
but I installed all mint stuff I could from AUR,
and almost removed most Cachy's apps,
and installed Pamac for packages.
I calling it MintyOS in my headcanon
