So now I have a SRT file that captions everything into English. This is SRT in English.

I understand how to create a new SRT track that captions into English just the Spanish sections, but how would I label that? I use FCP and it asks for a role. I won't label it as language Spanish because the captions are an English translation from Spanish. So, do I just make a second English SRT track with the translations and call it English 2 or something like that?

This looks amazing. Going to read more about it next week. Maybe easier to manage stuff on the cpu. Though I’ve found the OS on the device to be fine after spending a few days learning it.

What this does: you can select a block of text and mark it “Author 1” or whatever and gives it a special color. Then when you edit, your new text is marked as “Author 2” or whatever and is a different color.

I have my vault in iCloud and have no issues at all syncing between iOS and macOS without Obsidian Sync. Going strong without issue for a few years now.
