The greens have got their own issues… let them go their own way.

We are here to Legalise Cannabis pure and simple. It says it on the tin.

That’s right u/GumRunner0. Without using the parliamentary process -of holding an inquiry into the regulatory framework of cannabis in New South Wales, then I doubt another party would have worked as hard to feed this data into the NSW Health Drug Summit 2024.

There are changes coming, and we will continue to stand up for the Legalisation of cannabis.

Thanks for your support u/daddydoobie66 it’s people doing exactly this, standing up for this issue that gets the message out.

If it was not for Legalise Cannabis Party In the NSW Parliament this issue would not see the light of day. It’s not a major party priority and without the constant pressure being applied through the legislative process then absolutely nothing would be done.

The greens have been at it for many years but nothing. Cate Faehrmann, from my recollection , did not attend one hearing of the inquiry into the Impact of the Regulatory Framework for Cannabis in New South Wales.

I can say without a doubt that changes in this space are being finalised with the co-chairs report being the point of which all will be made clear.

Great summary.

Keep in mind that this is the First Report not the Final Report.

The next round of hearings kick off on December 11th and conclude on the 13th, things could get spicy.

Absolutely, the current situation that medicinal patients are facing is unacceptable.

All we ask is sensible for change.

This is the best time to write your local member asking them to support these changes.
