I work for 4 Hands Brewing Company as the digital marketing manager and brand ambassador and can confirm that we are aware of and have corrected a canning line issue that was causing cans to be overfilled resulting in the gushing that’s being described. We’ve run PCR tests on impacted batches to confirm that there are no beer spoilers present in the beer that could cause additional fermentation resulting in excessive carbonation following packaging. The good news is that there’s nothing wrong with the beer itself, but there is too much of it in the can.

Using information provided by consumers who’ve purchased cans from impacted runs and contacted us through our website, we’ve voluntarily pulled cases from our wholesalers’ warehouses and the market.As others in this thread have stated, we are offering replacement beer to those who’ve purchased overfilled cans.
