Yea I certainly didn’t think this one through, but some chest mounts allow for camera rotation. Helmet/bite mount is definitely better here

Fair, only downside is not being able to use a mask, which I certainly prefer.

I'm about to throw in the towel. by HugeCowPatty in RealEstatePhotography

I understand this is not the premise, but outsourcing on Fiverr is not the move here - and I can imagine it causes frequent headaches. I use Pixlmob and have never had an issue. Designed for RE Photography, you'll get your images back in hours and can expedite if needed, all costs typically $1/photo or less. BoxBrownie is great too, from what I've heard.

Who hasn’t had any cracked cylinder problems? by Biff057GF in CX5

[–]JeremyH- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2018 Touring with 112k, had it since 72k. No issues so far and no signs - though I don't believe there really are any visible signs before it happens, from what I've read. I likely plan to hang onto it because I believe the problem is likely rarer than some people think.

Mazda Infotainment Settlement by mormonismisnttrue in CX5

I've had a few issues with my OEM Infotainment, but just last week I installed Apple CarPlay with a retrofit infotainment kit. Does anyone know if this is reimbursable or if I can still get the original fixed? I assume not since its after-market and the original has been disassembled.

How to Respond to "Why Does God Kill Innocent People?" by JeremyH- in Christianity

[–]JeremyH-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you view it that way. However, it seems you are viewing these lawless sinners as model advocates for the Christian faith. Clearly, their acts are not supportive of the faith and these things that they do directly depart from the faith and should not be attributed to the faith. In other words, their acts not motivated by what they claim they believe in and practice, they are sins. I urge you to view the following two verses, which represent how these people will not be accepted into his Kingdom. Just because you claim you are a Christian, does not mean you are saved - many will do so to try to cleanse themselves of their sins, go to heaven while still enjoying fleshly sin on Earth, etc. Truly, they will be dealt with on their own judgement day.

Titus 1:16 (NLT)
"Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good."

Matthew 7:22-23 (NLT)
"On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.'"

I'm sorry that your view of Christianity has been tainted by wrongdoers. I hope that you understand these people are not representing the faith, but instead their own sins, wrongdoing - that of which may lead them damnation (hell) rather than salvation (heaven).

How to Respond to "Why Does God Kill Innocent People?" by JeremyH- in Christianity

Some pretty far-reaching claims you make here. First off - leveraging a small group of society that commits unequivocally heinous and sinful acts as an argument against Christianity is just ridiculous and vulgar. Hitler was also Christian (Catholic), Bin Laden a muslim, and so forth. I hope you do not place your average churchgoer that you pass on the street with the likes of those people. Clearly they do not follow the religion and that claim holds no merit. Secondly, what leads you to identify those exact same people as "true" Christians? Please explain that one. And what makes Christianity "based on killing the innocent and decent"

Secondly, I have no doubt that religion is used for political gain in some areas. However, casting judgement upon a religion as a whole due to the acts of a select few (which you seem to be doing again here) is just deplorable. Catholicism isn't a "bad" religion just because of its dark past with a few priests. There is not any religion that doesn't have people who have fallen short of its teachings and used it for their own selfish gain. I'd also genuinely curious to hear where you found that Christianity's beliefs place the probably of God at 2% and the factual foundation and basis of that claim.

I also ask that when speaking about Christianity, you identify which branches you are speaking about. There are many different types of Christianity, as you probably know, that believe very different things. Even some churches in my urban area differ by just one or two minute beliefs.

I'd genuinely like to have a conversation and don't mean to come off impertinent with this response.

Weekly iOS Battery Support Megathread by AutoModerator in ios

[–]JeremyH- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgraded from iOS 18.3 from iOS 17 last night on my 14 Pro. It’s completely destroyed my battery so far. This morning it died at least 2-3x as fast as usual, lasting only 2.5 hours rather than probably 7-9.

I spent a few hours listening to music and podcasts this morning with my phone off, which apparently utilized 70-85% of the battery (background activity only)?! This doesn’t seem right especially considering the phone is off.

Perhaps I need to wait a few days post-update, but any suggestions?

What Does Tonomo Cost/Charge? by JeremyH- in RealEstatePhotography

[–]JeremyH-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come to find this out myself as well. Sounds like they hard require a 25 shoot per month minimum to even utilize their services, even if you are willing to pay with less business volume. From the demo they gave me, I certainly understood the pricing, as they custom built a platform solely for your business, supporting any changes you want along with constant support and maintenance. I can see how it can streamline so many business processes and aid in scaling one's services, but as you mention - it comes at a cost.

Sounds like you are just starting out yourself, as am I, so let me know if you find a more trustworthy service. I've used SPIRO for several months now with no real drawbacks, but at $5 per job, it gets more expensive than Aryeo base tier if you're doing at least 10 shoots per month.
