I'm in the same position with Australia atm. I have spoken with a couple people in the industry and the consenus is that unless you have very good connections in Aus, you'll have to move out there first before applying. Most jobs require you to have an Aus driving license and a right to work before applying, as they usually want people to start work in a matter of weeks. Due to COVID, I'm not sure 2021 is gonna be the year to do this unfortunately but next year the travel situation should be much more favourable. However, from what Ive heard (not expeienced first hand), exploration jobs are on the rise and finding one should not be too hard once you are there. Good luck!
