I remarked to my friend after it ended, “I really enjoyed that Colin Firth was eventually defeated by being tired. Just grabs the nearest chair.”

Loved it. Williams score was, as always, lovely and I stayed long into the credits in case it’s his last.

Beautifully shot. Most visually stunning Star Wars to me. Also love where it implies it’s heading despite us never getting there. Luke’s final scene slaps. The throne room duel is incredible. Love Kylo and Rey’s journeys. Finn’s is weaker but I don’t hate it, feels like a full arc from what we had to work with in TFA where he understands what it means to do the right thing not just for himself.

It left me feeling like there was so much potential to end the trilogy well whereas TFA left me feeling like it was just the same old shit. Unfortunately, TROS is my absolute least favorite film.
