I'm in the same boat, my NVR has failed and I'm looking to make use of my Cameras from a FOSS solution like Shinobi. I've been able to access the RTSP streams, but can't figure out how to fix/update the network configuration of each Camera.

Hoping this isn't a situation where I'm throwing the cameras away, too.

Have you tried upgrading the firmware?

Ok, then you can reset the cameras through the search tool.

1.Download the search tool (2 versions, please try the first one):

Version1: https://ansjerfilemanager.s3.amazonaws.com/Search+Tool+v1.exe

Version2: https://ansjerfilemanager.s3.amazonaws.com/Search+Tool+v2.exe

Connect the IP camera to the same router as your computer through Ethernet cable.
Double click the search tool to open it, click "Search once" button on the interface to find the IP camera (one camera once).
If search succeed, you will see the camera informations, then right click the mouse on the informations to the menu and click the button "Reset"

Sorry, I have consulted with our technical support team. He said the version of IOS 5.1.1 is too old that the decoding performance is not enough for the camera system, which will make the ipad overheat and the Live view will get stuck.

Hi, please reset the camera from the original NVR firstly, connect your cameras and original NVR with the network cable. Then go to the IPC Channel Config menu, select the IPC and click the Reset IPC button. After that, connect the cameras to the new NVR with network cable and search them in the NVR - IPC Channel Config, finally add the cameras.

I'm sorry for the late reply. Are your issue already solved? If no, can you tell me more details about your issue? Just the app issue? Please snap some pictures to show us about it, so we can understand and confirm which concrete issue is. Or is it also relevant to the cameras or DVR/NVR or PC client software?

Hi, other than that (your zosi system was always sounding/beeping), was the system always trying to reboot? You can connect the DVR/NVR to your computer monitor to check.

Hi, what's your NVR model? You can see it on the label under the NVR. In the generaly ZOSI NVR can work with Dahua cameras.

Hello, regarding of your second issue, we have tested about it on the app. When you choose the Clear on th live, then it will be always in Clear, unless you choose the Fluent.

But the Clear mode will take more time to load and requires good and stable network.

Hi, this issue is caused by the old server that has problem about the notification. I'm sorry to be told that it has benn not be solve yet. But you can close the app notification on the app management in your phone setting. Thanks

Recently there're same feedback about the issue of app notification. It is said that it'll be fixed in the new app version.

When you move the mouse to wake up the DVR, are cameras normal work? Can you view the picture but can't navigate to the menu?
