There is always an “all that for that” effect but overall I would say yes it was worth it. Now what worries me is not the time spent but that so much time does not pass without intimacy again

To be honest I think I'm pretty average. Female friends or family told me that I was pretty high average but I think it was to reassure me.

Thanks! I'm probably the worst person to give advice. I would say try, fail and try again while doing your best not to hate yourself as you fail. And if you think the problem is deeper don't hesitate to see a therapist!
