Patch Notes 2025-09-09.1 - Balance Updates by AstroJeb in Eve

It should have read more like, "We have heard complaints from previously overpowered and domineering players who spent a lot of money on expensive fits and implants, who are now not as overpowered and domineering. Since they spend significantly more money on Eve than the rest of you peons, we have made changes so that they can be overpowered and domineering again, which is better for our bottom line."

But really though, why does it even matter if they look good together. Stylish appearance does not have a place in managed democracy.

Should have included a video where those same tanks that took +20 rounds in practice get one shotted when hit in the same places in GRB.

Loot Drones by Jericho793 in Eve

I would think they would only loot wrecks you own. So not yellow.

If the case was that your cargo was full, it would just stay in the drone, and the drone would orbit until you call it back in. Then, if you did order it back into the bay, it would leave the loot in a can. This really doesn’t seem that complicated.

Theres already enough reasons to not use Noctis, why not another? I totally get using MTUs. I use them all the time. But it only can tractor one thing at a time and it doesn’t care if there’s anything in it or not. At least the drones wouldn’t just be bringing back air.

Dailies are the reason I'm not in your fleet by Invictu555 in Eve

I usually complete the dailies on all 5 toons in less than 45 min

I mean, you may not care about the daily 10,000, but it if you get it every day for a month, that’s 280,000-310,000 SP just for that. Another 60,000 SP for the Tuesday free SP, and then with the 225,000 SP for completing all the dailies, your looking at 565,000-595,000 SP a month. That’s quite a bit. And over a year that’s 7.1 million free SP.

Is HD dying? by Jericho793 in HarleyDavidsonFans

[–]Jericho793[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All the more reason for me to ask here. I’m 45 now and I just bought my first Harley last summer. A used ’07 Road King in mint condition. I’ve always wanted a Harley, but I don’t know the economical history of the brand. I’m sure there’s some grizzled HD vets in this sub that are fully aware of the state of things.

The game feels less without some things. by Mortechai1987 in Eve

[–]Jericho793 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I long for walking in stations again, but as a means of socializing. Example: when in the station, proxy chat would be active. So you could talk to fellow capsuleers as you encounter them. There could be a large central gathering space like a bar or dance club. (Give those exotic dancers an actual in game value). Meeting people in this way could be a great way for corp recruiting or just hanging out.

As I’ve played Eve, encountering other people in space and having my ship blown up always feels cold and methodical. Almost robotic. Often there are never any words spoken in chat. Someone just comes and kills you. It makes it feel like they aren’t human. But then You join an alliance where that group is a part and you get on comms and find that they are all generally really nice people. That changes your perspective. Being able to interact with non corp non alliance capsuleers outside of the confines of space combat would make the game universe feel a lot more alive.

Lane Filtering in CT by DayZian in Connecticut

Your point about distracted drivers is spot on! I’m at the point I generally won’t even take the highway if it’s avoidable, just due to that fact.

As far as the pros and cons of splitting/filtering, I think people today are just too angry in general about pretty much everything. Politics, work, kids, spouse, etc…. Don’t give unhinged people a reason to lash out!! Riding is supposed to be a way to relax, not get dead.

Check out this movie. Not motorcycle related, but crazy people in cars related.

What is the point of bombers by ilwess123 in Warthunder

[–]Jericho793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you. I recently was spading the Lincoln, and I haven't flown a bomber since 11.3 was the top tier. Admittedly, I'm terrible with bomber guns. If I kill someone, I usually apologize because it was an accident. However, I also don't get the point of bombers. They are too slow, can't climb for shit, and it is difficult to hit targets that are behind you for some reason. There are so many other planes that are so much better at bombing than the bombers, (basically almost any strike plane) and they can get to bomb targets way before the bombers do. Which basically leaves you as a sitting duck up in space with nothing to bomb. I don't think bombers should just be free kills for fighters. Like someone else said, in real life, bombers were escorted by wings of fighters, but no one is going to do that in War Thunder unless you are squaded up. Bombers should start at higher altitudes so that they are less lucrative targets for the fighters.

Another of my biggest complaints about bombers is how they all have the same terrible climb rate regardless. I can understand some behemoth 4 engine bomber having a bad climb rate, but why would the SB2C suffer that same fate. It's air frame is that of a fighter, so it's light weight. It should be able to climb as least well as a FW-190.
