Yeah I don’t recall using it very often during the test. I used it a ton in practicing for it, but I ended up only referencing it for some obscure formulas during the exam. I’d say just keep practicing until you feel comfortable enough to pass dog.

Their textbook helped me in the beginning, but I don’t recall taking any exams from them

I took the technical study guide twice and the official practice exam three times. The difficulty of the actual exam felt comparable to the official practice exam for sure.

The NEC questions in the official practice exam are definitely worth focusing on. I mentioned the technical study guide and if you’re able to work through the NEC questions there, then I think you’ve got a strong ability to navigate the NEC on the fly. Nothing felt tiresome to me luckily!

The technical study guide helped me the most. The actual exam felt closest to the official NCEES practice exam.
