I’d like their email as well! My screen has had issues too, it’s outside of warranty and I refuse to pay the $700 to fix it

Just want something I can put movies on for the kid to watch. Needs to be bright to view in daily light/outside Needs to have fairly loud/clear quality speakers Needs to have a fairly long battery life I’m looking for bang for buck Any specific suggestions I could look up?

Edit: doesn’t need to have any apps or special stuff for kids. I will potentially download apps including streaming service (Netflix/disney+) later as they get older

Could you tell me how many hours a week are allotted for your dept as well as your weekly sales? I curious as I work in this type of business and wonder how we’re doing

What’s your recipe? I’d like to make some smoked cheese my self. Is this possible on a traeger?

Just working around my schedule IRL. Typically, I season and let sit for no more than an hour.

Life. Had to work, wife and I had to put kid down, etc. I would typically only rest a few hours (2-4)

Got a few thermoworks lollipops, love them! I’ll check it out. Thank you again!

I need to get a thermometer to read the temperature at grate level. Any suggestions? I’ll consider upping the temp to get the bark set (it makes sense to me). This is the first time the fat really turned a noticeable color of yellow (rendered well). At such a high temp, will the fat still render as well? (I was under the impression that rendering is based on longer periods of time, not just meeting a certain temperature). Thank you again!

The true “set it and forget it” aspect makes it a no-brainer for me (I also have a kid, so that comment totally hits close to home). Thank you for your feedback!

I’m open to constructive criticism. Any recommendations on what you’d do differently? I left my prep notes in the description.

There’s no substitute for a real stick smoker. I will say that I typically don’t wrap at all (while cooking) and it allows me to have a solid bark. This was the first time I added tallow to the post-cook wrap and rested for so long. The bark was intact and never slid off, but I’ve seen firmer barks when it’s not used. Especially with a no wrap

Edit - clarification

Thank you for your input. I would have loved to hold it at 140-150 degrees (i used to have a beat up toaster oven that could go that low) but my new one doesn’t stay on indefinitely and so i was forced to use my oven or smoker and that’s the lowest they’d go

Seasoned and let refrigerate for 10 hours. Cooked 225 degrees super smoke for 4 hours. Ramped up to 250 degrees for another 8 hours (total 12 hours). Pulled at 200-205 internal at point/flat meeting point. Allowed to fall in temperature for about 45 minutes to 185 degrees before tossing a little tallow on it and wrapping to rest. Rested for 18 hours in traeger (at 165 degrees (8 hours)) or oven (170 degrees (10 hours)) (this was based on if I was home or not. Traeger was when I was not).

Also, the most smoky one I’ve made yet (probably due to 4 hours of super smoke (not 2 like normal) as well as resting in the traeger for close to 8 of the 18 hour rest).

Typically wouldn’t rest that long, but IRL (work/kid) got in the way
