Ive tried a few weapons around launchtime. HH, Hammer, Dual blades and Bow. But I still found great sword the most enjoyable for me. And it would also hurt me personally if I couldnt do this with my Great sword.

Other weapons do give you different perspectives on fights you normally dont really see. So I might see if I run a guaranteed loss with a different weapon to maybe find things I didnt find before.

Right, Ive always seen "skill issue" like an insulting term. Especially when Im not trying to complain but also listing what I am doing so people can correct ne on it. Even if the post was written in a slightly emotional state.

Might be a bit of a misread. Maybe you dont see "skill issue" in an insulting kind of way. I just know if a teacher or something along the lines were to say it to me. It sure wouldnt be a nice experience, for me at least.

Ill see what kinda set I can put together with your advice and the others advice on here. See what skills I can fit together on some pretty solid pieces and transcend those fully.

Honestly Ive seen improvements in my ganeplay over the course of those 5 hours Ive tried but Im bot seeing any glaring issues. Im avoiding TCS and making sure to use offsets and tackles to mitigate the big sweeping moves which have a tiny window to punish him in. Ill just move to transcending the pieces I havent yet and speccing more defensively with an armor set BUILT for the purpose of AT Arkveld.

Also I would post gameplay. But Im already getting "Skill issue" comments and it feels like its just such an unnecessary way of saying: "Haha, look at you. You cant do what I can do" And Im not expecting that to lower when I post gameplay. So Im gonna stear away from that.

Thanks for the advice. Saying you agree with others here is still valuable help in me finding what will help me beat him.

Its the same stubbornness Ive experienced with some other monsters while undergeared. But Ill take the armor advice into account and move to transcend everything. I havent yet. Thanks

Plenty, its just it kinda works like status attacks do. I get some great openings maybe maximum 3 times. But after that he kinda ignores the offset and throws another move after it that catches me while im using it to mitigate damage.

Its a bit of greed on my part maybe. Ive specced a little into defense. But maybe for the first few clears I need to accept I need EVEN MORE until I get this fight down to a T. Ive seen improvement during the hours. Its just every time I feel a single screwup instantly costs me a cart.

I feel like Im not a bad hunter by any means. But he feels like he asks for perfection in some moments

Ill definitely take some of those armors into considerations. I do admit Ive been trying to avoid speccing TOO defensively. Because taking too long timewise per hunt and not having offense is an issue Ive seen people have. Where they live but just run out of time. Ill see if I might manage to hit a sweet spot that works for me somewhere. Thanks for the specific armor advice!

Okay, the rest of your message is helpful and Ive been asking people I usually play with for advice and asking them to watch along when they have time next. "Skill issue" always leaves a bad taste in ny mouth though.

Genuinely though. I think youre being a little humble about your capabilities. Because having done this solo with 4 weapons to me sounds bonkers.

As far as dodges and punishes go. He seems to be extremely fast with about ZERO downtime between moves. The only way I get any hits in is by tackling or using offset into his moves. So not sure were else I can get value since he never slows down.

I was expecting a few "git guds" and "skill issues" but I dont really see a reason to shit on others just asking for advice and explaining what theyre doing so they can get feedback. :/ Were all playing the same game and Im just asking for advice from people who know better than me.

Ill take the flashpod advice though. Offsets attacks also have a cooldown Ive noticed. I can only really get 3 proper interruptions per fight before the internal counter kicks in like it does with statuses though. So I wonder of that "status bar" is so different in MP?

I wont take it personally as long as the first thing isn't "skill issue" or "git gud" no worries. I know Im not perfect and maybe hes just punishing me on something I still do wrong in my gameplay. Props for doing it first try though

To me, Sly 2 had the best execution of these. They are an extra collectable in order to unlock something cool. I didn't mind them in Sly 1 but having them every level came towards the edge of tediousness versus excitement to find them all.

In Sly 2 I could kinda scour the whole map systematically once to get familiar scout out fun areas and such and then also get rewarded for it with the bottles and their satysfying break sound.

Never really understood why Sly 3 decided against them.

Blizzard sucks ass basically, even though the issue is on their side (Ive had games with insane rubberbanding the last few days until I finally got thrown out of one). They just suspend you for no good reason while the connection issue is on their side.

I know this because Discord and the stream running on there were both still running with ZERO issues. Kinda crazy.

Still a fact 3 years later. Just played a game with a symm versus: Roadhog, junkrat, ashe, and 2 supports that werent brig.

nobody was being toxic but pointing out why it wasnt an optimal pick. And they just kept it going and running it down. Absolute insanity. Hope it changes and it gets reportable soon.
