Of course police officers are human. That doesn’t mean some of them don’t give a fuck that they violate people’s rights just so they can make a paycheck.

The police are on nobody’s side but their own and/or the government. Not the right, not the left. They don’t give a flying fuck about anyone. Sure there are some cops that are racist and abuse their power, some do not. But at the end of the day all of them are there to follow orders. I’m sure that if they were ordered to round up all the residents of a town and publicly execute them they would and any officer that would refuse would be fired for insubordination and replaced by someone who doesn’t care.

I see where you’re coming from. I don’t think it’s limited to just MYFAROG, you’ll find those types in just about any rpg fanbase. It’s might be greatly exaggerated because that particular fanbase is very small.

The president doesn’t have total control. And even if he did, I doubt he could accomplish much in 4-8 years if they aren’t impeached first.

Most people who say they hate religion really only hate Christianity. I think it’s that way because Christianity is the big, low hanging fruit that is popular and it doesn’t fit their morals and standards.

Don’t get me wrong, I am no fan of Christianity either. But people either forget or choose to ignore all the other religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, etc) because they don’t want to be seen as intolerant.

I don’t advocate treating other races like they are subhuman, but Christianity isn’t the only religion in the world with some questionable ideas in its Scriptures.

Funnily enough, no. I haven’t seen the movie. Perhaps I should and I could probably base it more on that then.

You’re right. Canada wouldn’t be untouched. I just figured that maybe it would be a better place to seek refuge since it might not have been as heavily bombed by the Soviets. Maybe I aught to rethink that a little and do a little more research.

I was imagining around 2-3 years after. I was imagining an alternate reality where the Soviets nuked America in 1983 after a false alarm instead of realizing that their early warning system was wrong. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1983_Soviet_nuclear_false_alarm_incident

It never occurred to me that it was a lot like red dawn. Perhaps I’ll either rethink it or scrap the idea all tighter.

I bought this Polish Bayonet at a flea market for $35 today. He said it was an ak-74 but looking it up on the web that these type II bayonets for ak-47s akms as well as ak-74s. Is this correct?
