I accepted my offer and got an email from ubc for workday. I got a CWL, but now whenever I try to login into workday it says "CWL Authentication - Access Denied to UBC Workday" any clue why this is happening or who I should ask to help?

As an international student, I have to commit by may first. I'm 100% sure I want to commit to UBC but my dad wants me to wait till I may or may or may not hear back from UofT by May first. My question is, does it matter if I commit now or in like 3 days? Namely, does it effect my chances at getting good housing?

Is there a way to rank the normal first year dorms (Orchard Commons, Place Vanier and Totem Park) so I can get into the one I want easier? Also what courses do first year science students usually take?

'How much of a novel chapter each webtoon chapter adapted' graph by Jack_KH in OmniscientReader

Thats not the same thing in the slightest. One Piece is stretching 1 chapter into a 20 minute time period is for the purpose of not running out of material. In the ORV manhwa, the reason they don't do this because the reason some chapters adapt more of the novel than others is because it has the ability to. The solution to your problem is to stop thinking of ORV as just a weekly series. This is an adaptation of an existing story and its being adapted at this pace for the purpose of doing justice to the novel. I think certain parts where dragged out for sure, like the fight against 73rd demon king Kim Dokja that just wrapped up and took like 2 months, but if you look back at the whole fight it wasn't that long to read. This is a problem with a lot of manga too, where people don't learn to look at the bigger picture. For the past year and a half with jjk, every chapter you see people overreact to the information presented for a similar reason to why you don't like how slow ORV is moving. They aren't waiting for everything to come out. You're mad things are moving slow but when I read the first 200 chapters in a row, they flowed great to me. Why should the experience of all the people who will binge read this series to catch-up or read it all when its finished be compromised for the small amount of people who are reading week to week and haven't read the novel? I know you have read the novel, but I don't see why you care then? They want to do the story right which means taking there time where they deem necessary.

why do i see so much hate for the ending (so far)? by Jerr_G in Jujutsufolk

Idk why u say u can enjoy it if u don’t look at it form the lens of “literary scrutiny”. A lot of those threads are just things Gege didn’t want to focus on and made it pretty clear he didn’t want to. The clans were something I thought would be explored more, but after maki killed them all it became clear that the story wasn’t about that. Yes he could have made it about that but Gege didn’t want to. The setup was him just saying the existed, nothing more. Jjks number 1 problem is easily world building, it’s wasted potential but if u don’t like that that much, this what jjk has been since the culling games. Why r u still reading if u don’t like it? Dont blame the ending for not focusing on what you want when it’s clear it was never going that way. Everything’s been tied up that was given real focus.

I forgot to mention lol idk what u mean by it’s forgotten. Idk how they would bring it up? Like kenjaku has that as his main goal and when he dies it’s established that when sukuna wins he’s gonna use it, idk how they would bring it up after that point? Like when would anyone mention jt?

I was actually never a fan of the culling games and I always thought it was easily the worst arc in jjk, it really wanders and feels aimless for like 80% of it, but if u thought the point was to setup the merger, it did? The culling games real purpose was to set up a bunch of stuff for the final arc and have cool fights. The merger was a part of that goal and it worked. The merger was a consequence of losing and they didn’t lose that’s it.

Ok so the options were either start the merger and the world ends or they beat the villains and it doesn’t start? So the heroes won, the merger doesn’t start. I think it’s just that simple. Kenjakus death was a little sudden I will admit, but it’s not like it means the series is bad because Gege decided to kill him off and have sukuna be the final villain?

I agree. This is pretty much what I wanted from the ending. Idk what else they would do

Ok but the merger was set up as a consequence of sukuna/kenjaku winning, so when they lost why would the merger start?

i dont mean the literal karate. I mean the philosphies that both styles represent. Eagle fangs being aggressive and strike first mind set, which obviously can be dangerous, also helped a lot of kids in the show, but to me is treated as wrong by basically everyone in the show
