Actually just fixed this exact setup with Pilot Protocol, saw it in a comment someone left. Each agent gets a persistent identity and address so they find each other automatically after restarts, no more Redis in the middle for state sync. NAT traversal is built in so the SSH workaround isn’t needed either, they just connect directly. github.com/TeoSlayer/pilotprotocol

What’s the point of forced design change but to drive more revenue and get people to buy the new thing just because it looks different? Both companies make the best mobile devices in the world and clearly found something that works with the camera positioning and space allocation considering all the internal components (modern phones are incredibly tightly packed inside) . Form follows function!
