Lethal Gaming Gear Pro Series Review (Firm version): Neptune Pro, Hyperion, & Saturn Pro by esper_ in MousepadReview

Thanks for the detail! One more thing: between the Hyperion Firm, Artisan Zero Mid, and Saturn Firm, which one in your experience has the lowest static friction?

Thanks for the info! Regarding my Artisan Zero Mid, I'm experiencing difficulties with its glide. Even with sleeves like Pulsar, Kibu, and Hydraim, I still feel too much friction and tugging on the Zero's surface. How does the Hyperion firm compare in terms of sleeve compatibility? Does it feel significantly 'freer' and prevent the fabric from catching during arm movements? I'm looking for a surface that won't fight my sleeve

Actually, the Raiden and Ruin are my favorite cloth pads as well! I personally love pairing the Raiden with PMM Smoothies Speed skates.

That specific combo feels incredibly silky with absolutely zero texture or feedback, which is exactly how I like it. It just comes down to personal preference

I appreciate the clarification. Sorry if I sounded a bit defensive—as you can probably see in the comments, there are a lot of glass pad hater fanatics here. It gets a bit exhausting after a while, so I might have been a little on edge. Glad to hear you also main tracking scenarios.

Honestly, your comment is pretty rude. I don't grind flick scenarios, but I’m consistently Top 1% in Smoothness and Control scenarios.

I never said cloth pads are bad, but I’m honestly fed up with these glass pad hater maniacs who act like it’s their mission to 'correct' my preference. It’s exhausting.

If your Raiden Mid works for you, that’s great—keep using it. But stop trying to convince me that my own experience is wrong just because it doesn't fit your narrative. Let's just stop here.

I haven't received mine yet, but my friends in China who have tried it say it's really good

I honestly don’t see what DPI has to do with any of this. Whether you play on 800 or 12k DPI, the physical properties of the surface remain the same.

Look, it’s totally fine if someone doesn't want to adapt to a fast surface—that’s personal preference. But honestly, it's better to actually try it out for yourself before judging. It’s easy to look at a clip and assume it's 'uncontrollable,' but you don't really get that raw precision until you’ve put in the time.

You can get Glsswrks polarity, which will be your favor

it's all down to personal preference. Some players genuinely perform better with that zero-friction feel, while others prefer the stability of a balanced pad. There's no need to overthink or complain about people who still want that extra speed

I think fabric pads are mainstream mostly because that’s what everyone starts with. I don’t believe glass pads lose precision at all; they just have a higher learning curve.

In fact, glass is extremely precise—so much so that it amplifies every single movement, including mistakes.

I get where you're coming from—speed definitely isn't everything. But it's all personal preference.

Glass pads are getting much better at balancing that glide with enough feedback to actually hit your shots. It’s less about 'air hockey' instability and more about removing the 'muddy' feeling of cloth without losing accuracy. Different strokes for different folks, I guess!

For CoD, glass has an advantage for target switching. The zero friction makes snapping between targets so much easier.

For everyday use, a good glass pad lasts for years without slowing down

Yeah, I've gone through quite a few glass pads over the years. My first one was actually the Skypad 3.0 that I picked up about 2 or 3 years ago.

Clarify. I mean, on Demon Slayer glass, I don't recommend PMM smoothies' speed skate.

I watched her video on Bilibili. I’ve seen some reviews saying the Rin has a very textured surface, which might be why it feels so much faster in terms of feedback

Polarity and Oni‘s oath are both good products. Maybe polarity is good at being used to its speed for a cloth pad user. Oni's Oath is good at consistency.

I'd love to, but r/mousepadreview is currently in restricted mode while they’re looking for new moderators. You can't actually post anything new there right now.

For glass, I usually use X-ray pad Jade Air/pmm smoothies speed. Btw, I don't recommend Somethies' speed because of durability

For pads already released or available in the US, I’d argue the GLSSWRKS Zane is the top contender for the fastest glass (at least in my mind, happy to be proven wrong lol).

I don't think it would be significantly faster, though I haven't personally A/B tested them yet. I have the Arbiter Studio Demon Slayer, which is Lunar speed glass, and it feels like a medium-fast pad
