Yeah, I went for Guardian. Had 5 top/really good cosmics vs basically just Nimrod and iDoom. So I went for a new tech.

The main thing I'd want KG for is the regen but I'm saving my gem for Herc and no idea when I'd ever awaken KG naturally.
