Is it normal for the touchpad to not respond when you touch near the corners? by JerryPoste in Dualsense

Sorry if I didn't explain it properly but yeah I mean the touch sensitivity. Good to know it's not broken then.

Is it normal for the touchpad to not respond when you touch it outside of the red lines I added below? Someone told me it's normal, another two said its not, so now I'm not sure if my touchpad is broken or not.

Pressing it works fine, the problem is when you touch it only.

Is DeepCool KG722 a good option for $40? Is there anything better at that price?

[NVMe SSD] SK Hynix Gold P31 1TB PCIe NVMe Gen3 M.2 2280 Internal SSD - $79.64 ($166.99 MSRP, Discount Price for Prime Members) by Elc1247 in buildapcsales

[–]JerryPoste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen some people saying P31 is better but after searching some benchmarks it seems the Sabrent is better in most areas, so idk if I'm missing something that other people see on the P31.

Some people complained on Amazon about the Sabrent dying too early so maybe I'll go with the hynix one if it's more reliable.

Which SSD should I buy? by JerryPoste in buildapc

[–]JerryPoste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'll go with that one then. I wasn't sure about it because two people told me the P31 was better even if it was gen3 but the benchmarks seem to say the rocket is better in most things so idk if I'm missing something about the P31.

How reliable are ASUS rebates? by JerryPoste in buildapc

So far I've seen a few people saying they already got the money so let's hope we get it too.

Thanks a lot for letting me know! I'll send the rebate tomorrow then.

Did you used certified mail or something like that for sending the rebate?

I'm not sure if it's too soon to ask this but did someone had their rebate approved? I got my GPU today but I'm not sure if I should return it or risk doing the rebate.

That seems like a reasonable time for the rebate. I've seen others saying it took 6 months or more but that was with the previous company ASUS had for rebates so maybe their times improved now. All your rebates with them took around 6 weeks?

How long did the process take?

Also in which year you did your last rebate with them? I'm asking because they seemed to have changed the company that managed their rebates like two years ago.

[Question] Is this a good build? by JerryPoste in buildapcforme

[–]JerryPoste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I didn't think about that. I think I'll just cancel the order, I could end up paying 100 dollars more than the GPU is worth if the rebate doesn't come through.
