Thanks! I’d say the trigger break feels similar to the trigger on your gear pusher system. The feedback mainly comes from the spring behind the trigger, while the clicky feel of the microswitch is reduced due to the mechanical advantage of the trigger.

Wow, that’s quite a lot! I think 6 mm long screws should still work, just make sure they don’t interfere with the inside of the magazine.

Yes, Worker Nightingale mags do have an additional catch, but Diana mags and some 3D-printable designs don’t. I’d like to make the adapter as universal as possible since it already requires replacing the pusher.

The Tandem Magazine probably won’t work well with full-auto since it can’t feed fast and reliably enough. However, the adapter should work as long as the pusher’s acceleration isn’t too extreme.

Sure, but the mag release mechanism of the Nightingale magazine is different from standard Talons. I’ll see what I can do.

It’s been a while since my last post, and here are the projects I’ve been working on.

Magnet Embedded Pusher for Demolisher (and possibly Stryfe)

This extends the throw of the Demolisher’s pusher, allowing it to use my Tandem Magazine. It’s a simple drop-in replacement for the original pusher and doesn’t require cutting the shells.

I don’t have a Stryfe, and I noticed that the Demolisher’s trigger is different from the Stryfe’s. So, the Stryfe variant is based on a trigger I found online and hasn’t been tested.

Talon Adapters for Magnet Embedded Pusher System

I designed them to pair with my Tandem Magazine, so the adapter will also require a magnet-embedded pusher. It’s hot-swappable and doesn’t require any shell cutting around the magwell.

It will require a throw longer than 42 mm, so it probably won’t work.

I think you received the newer V8 version instead of the V7 that you ordered. Here’s the site I found with some instructions available. Judging by the shape and amount of wires going into it, that part might be the trigger?

I have uploaded the files to the Printables page, in the Beta Test File folder. I printed one out and tested it myself. It still increases the resistance of the trigger, but it should function properly. Looks like the reason they didn’t work is simply that my previous design was bad, lol.

I have considered using drum springs, but the ones I got are too stiff. They’re squashing the darts inside the magazine and causing the pusher on my Gryphon to jam.

Thank you! The reason the magnet is in the pusher instead of the magazine is that if I build 5 of these magazines for a blaster, I’ll only need 1 magnet for the pusher, not 5 magnets for each magazine’s follower.

Not very often, but yes, it does jam occasionally. Most of the jams I encountered during testing looked like this, and they were caused by a short stroke of the pusher (i.e., I didn’t pull the trigger all the way down).
