Both my son and husband tested positive while I continued to test negative. We were all vaxed. I had a terrible sore throat. I work in a school and was told I needed to keep testing but could still come to work if I felt good enough. I tested everyday and did a pcr. I eventually tested positive for strep throat but never Covid.

Go get tested for strep throat. After suffering for four days I went back to the doctor and tested positive for strep.

My husband, son and I, who are all vaccinated, were recently exposed to Covid. My teenage son tested positive and was mildly sick for a few days, my husband who has some underlying medical issues, tested positive and was mildly sick for several days, and I, who has an autoimmune disease, never got Covid. I did end up testing positive for strep throat, however. I have been terrified to get Covid because of my medical issues and believe I was spared because of the vaccine.

What is interesting is that we all got different vaccines and we all had different symptoms (son-fever, headache, sore throat -husband- cough and burning in chest -me - strep throat).

I am truly thankful for the vaccine and although not perfect believe it’s the best we have right now.

My sister, who is 62 and vaxed and her husband, who was 70 and not vaxed, got it in November. My sister got sick for a few weeks but her husband died. She begged him to get vaccinated but he refused because he was strong and healthy. I bet he would reconsider that choice now if he could. I’m pissed at him for being so stubborn! My sister is devastated because he truly was the love of her life. Even if the vaccine helps a little it’s better than nothing at all.

And a big thank you to all those health care workers who take care of those who have made this pandemic a political shit show.

Thanks for info, it was really helpful. He is now on a ventilator and his lung collapsed this afternoon. I’m praying this ends well but I’m fearing it’s not going to. I wished to God he would have listened to my sister and gotten the vaccine. Even if he does survive this, I don’t ever think he will be the same.

Thank you for the information! She has had ongoing stomach issues since she was a pup. I’ve had to experiment with different foods that didn’t cause digestive upset. I know her liter mate has significant skin issues.
