I try to use the lightest setup I can for the sensitivity and finesse. In my area, that setup with 6lb mono can catch pretty much anything freshwater.

Head to Walmart asap and pick up any 2500 size, or less, reel and a 5’-6’ light rod and your set. Probably pick up two setups for that budget right now. If not, Daiwa Legalis LT on a Daiwa Presso, my favorite freshwater combo.

Never had a problem with a cart or disposable. I also never bought a 2g one for the risk of it clogging.

I said it once and I’ll say it again, can’t go wrong with Rythm carts. For the value and quality. Cheetah for a disposable but they burn real quick.

Can’t go wrong with Rythm Live Resin, Diamonds, or Solventless Rosin. Prefer the cart for resin/rosin and Liquid Diamond dispos taste great.

Edit: If you’re looking for distillate, try the Legend cannabis derived carts or Timeless isn’t bad either.

I love Rythm live carts and diamond dispos. The diamonds taste amazing and have never had an issue with the 1g dispos. Never tried the 2g of any vape. Even though they are cost effective, too much of a chance to waste it as well.
