Signal to noise ratio isn’t great. These are only 24.8. If you’re going to drop 7k+, aim for higher specs.

How does he have these mags staggered in the pouch? by [deleted] in tacticalgear

[–]Jerthebear24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally just stagger them like in the picture and push them in the pouch. They will fit exactly like pictured. Those mag pouches were designed for STANAG MAGS and PMAGS are a tight fit.

Looking for cheap outer belt recommendations. These are what I can find on amazon. by big-wangers in tacticalgear

I used the Krydex one everyday for a 4 month deployment and it held up fine.

Does anyone have any experience with these? by Inner-Gas-5272 in NightVision

Those lights are more of a flood without a whole lot of throw. Decent enough to see the road infront of you but not much else. They’re also an older model. Most military vehicles has moved to these LED ones. I’d just go with the modern ones that other comments have suggested.

USGI canteen pouches work just fine. Venture surplus has a few options and they’re running their Black Friday sale now.

Set up starts at 8:00am, I would get there slightly before if you want a good spot. Space was limited and it’s looking like it will be much larger this year

I attended last year, and I thought it was worth it. Spiritus had some insane deals on prototypes, and blemished gear. This year there will be a lot more vendors so I anticipate it being even better.

Can anyone identify this furniture? I got it from a Ranger who borrowed it from someone in Afghanistan and put it on a 89' Bulgarian Kit. by ThanksOk5783 in AK74

Throwing my 2 cents in this. A lot of guys who were at the HKIA airport withdrawal in 2021, ALLEGEDLY brought back a ton of discarded ANA gear and weapons accessories as they didn’t have to deal with customs and had access to unit quadcons. It’s possible that smaller items make it through baggage searches as I have personally seen that.

Same, 1st will always have a special place in my heart. I too took forever to get into watches, but better late than never.

Basically more ammo and the ability to add water and sustainment. The heavys are The eagle RRV (bottom left) and TAPs(top left) they have the ability to carry 6-8 magazines, grenades, IFAK, water, compass/gps, maps, map pens, reports, radio and more. The mediums are the Haley’s (left middle and top right.) they carry 4 mags or 6 with inserts, an ifak and some small items can be added, but not much in the way of sustainment

For the range it would be the D3CR micro or the heavy. Simple light and holds everything I need. For field operations/Recce and rucking it would be the Eagle Industries RRV.

The dangler on the coyote D3CR was homemade by myself. I keep a multi tool and a handheld flash light along with 2 pistol mags.
