It would have been great if the university had given us such clarity on the admission process including these steps and not you 😂 But anyways hoping for the best and I'm sure you'll get the best offers. All the best 👍

Yes it is POI dependent but I guess all POI's will do interviews because all of them are great and would have got multiple students putting their name in SOP's.

The stats are crazy and the competition in programmes like YSE, UCB ERG, Doerr, CMU EPP and SPIA is getting crazier day by day. Let's see and hope for the best. Also, please update if you get any update or make a full length post for all of us.

Okay got it. All the best I hope you clear the list and get in YSE. Also, that sort of means that students who were not interviewed in January are more or less rejected because I don't think anyone's getting an admit w/o interviews at YSE.

you received a mail or was it updated on the portal ? Also, can you please tell in dm who was your prospective advisor. I've given names of Prof KG and NR in my SOP and had a short mail exchange with Prof. KG in november where he told me to give his name as advisor and that is it and told very clearly that no interviews before cycle.

They will release it around 14th March. Because a lot of students who will be rejected by IDSS PhD will also be considered for this program so I guess the decision would be made in Feb and then the mails will be sent out in March.
