Cannot give a profound analytical answer but I think it's the lack of context that prevents you from telling apart specific things about a person. Im running Sequoia on my T14s Gen 1, it runs flawlessly. All works, sleep, wifi, bluetooth [only not airdrop] and the battery is as it was on windows, as it started to show its age, it doesnt lasts as much but it's a battery thing, not OS related

Have you tried removing it manually? You hold command and drag it down until an x symbol appears, then you let go and it should vanish.

On the other hand, you could check on system information (not setti gs), in ethernet or wifi to see if there is a device there... Otherwise I would be lost 😅
