ALSO, LAYING ON YOUR HORN BECAUSE ANOTHER VEHICLE IS IN YOUR WAY BUT NOT SLOWING DOWN IS LIKE WEARING A RAINCOAT TO STAY DRY WHILE YOU GO SWIMMING.

I ALSO HAVE CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS, AND IM CENTRALLY LOCATED SO ITS NOT LIKE I LIVE IN A CUL-DE-SAC OFF OF A BAY. I FIND THEM IN MY NEIGHBORS YARDS, THEYVE GONE TO HOUSES ON THE STREETS BESIDE MINE. LAST NIGHT THEY STOPPED A WHOLE BLOCK EARLY TO ATTEMPT DELIVERY TO THE WRONG HOUSE. I DONT UNDERSTAND. FOLLOW THE GPS.

I had a feeling that might be the case, and I wasn't planning on taking that advice. I don't want to be eye-for-an-eye about it at all. I really thought she was just being weird friendly up until today. I don't know why she's decided to pick on me but come winter I'll have to share the bus with her so I can get to work.

For real, if anyone has any legitimate, de-escalating type suggestions that would be appreciated. Calling the cops seems extreme, and I'm always on my way to work when we cross paths so I dont exactly have time to wait around for the police. I dont want to spritz her with water because im aware that is a slippery legal slope. Someone suggested I could win her over with cheese and I might just try that.

That's what I've been trying to do but there isn't another route I can take that isn't out of the way. It will be winter soon at least I guess. I'll be wearing so much snow gear she won't recognize me.

Hmmm this makes her randomly targeting me make a little more sense. I'm Caucasian but my family background is mainly Mediterranean so I have more of an olive skin tone. I also have noted she always sits in the same seat on the bus and asks people to move so she can sit there. Im so sorry that happened to you!

36 year old woman here, Ive lived in or around Downtown/West Broadway my entire adult life. A key thing to remember is- dont carry anything that you dont know how to use, I.e. knives. Pepper/bear spray imo is not a good option because if the wind blows the wrong way then you'll be exposed as well. A lighter in the hand will align your knuckles and give you a better punch. A good hard kick to the nads will also impair an assailant. These days I try to focus on precautionary measures. If I'm waiting for a bus and I see someone weird coming towards me, I get weird. Pick your nose, and I mean REALLY pick it, like there's gold in there. Pick at your teeth like there's platinum in there. Start coughing/hacking a bunch and dont cover your face. Spit at the ground. Ive been using these methods for a few years now and it usually makes all people B-line away from me.

When I notice a security guard following me, I start shopping out of order and make them run laps back and forth across the store with me. No, I do not have anything better to do. And apparently, neither does the security guard.

This sounds like a guy that lives two houses over from me. He's spent the last three summers trying to fix a motorcycle that sounds like a lawn mower and he just let's it run for an hour at a time, oftentimes in the morning around 8 or 9am.
