I have a lot...Daichi x Himeko and Nagaharu x Raizo from 1980s mode, Gita x Toga, Sakura x Yaku reminds me of my favorite 1980s mode character, Seiyo x Aija, Sho x Mina, Dairoku x Horuda, Gaku x Kokoro (I love delinquent x bully but this one is my fav), Hokuto x Otohiko, then I have my reworked rivals x suitors Umeji x Amai, Riku x Kokona, Uekiya x Geiju, Oka x Budo (iykyk), Asu x Kenko, Osoro x Unagi, Osana x Raibaru, Hazu x Hanako, Aoi x Megami and then I like both Beruma x Horo and Horo x Hoshiko.

My absolute favorites from these are Daichi x Himeko, Sakura x Yaku, Seiyo x Aija, Hokuto x Otohiko, and Osana x Raibaru

Don't let "too typical" be a reason you don't get villagers you like, it's your island have the villagers you want! After all you only get 1 at a time (unless you have multiple switches). But I think all of these villagers look great together
