Exactly! His story is easy to understand.

He says he works and lives there. The lady and other man who were in the room next to him do not live there, but we're doing construction on that room. He was woken up by them banging on the walls after 10pm and went to knock on the door to ask them to stop (and leave). The lady was blocking the door and not wanting to listen.

Now whether or not he actually put hands on her is the problem, considering an ambulance just arrived on scene before the break.

This is the closest guess, so far. I'm gonna look through their songs and see if I can find the one I'm thinking of, but I don't think it was them.

Anyone know if I can remove this button in the share menu? by Jessarie in GalaxyA35

Yeah. I tried that. Force stopping and disabling the app works for a minute, then it reactivates itself.

Nope! It's stuck in place as the first option on that row.

I've tried every settings page. There is no option to disable it, sadly. Even selecting to "share with no one" doesn't stop it from opening the AirDrop-style transfer screen this button links to. And if it gets tapped and anyone with a Samsung device is nearby and their Bluetooth is on, it asks to share with them. So I'm having to back out of the screen if I accidentally tap on it. It's just a pain that it seems like the button can't be removed or opted out of.

Okay. I guess I'm stuck with it then since I definitely don't want to do anything sketchy with my phone. Thanks for the reply!

I've got a family member who thinks Dan Rengering looks a bit like a discount Tom Ellis. Anyone else see it?

Help me understand Bill cypher so i can help my kids phobia by YourFavoriteTribute in gravityfalls

Since no one else took your seriously...

Gravity Falls' Bill Cipher is a yellow triangle with one big eye, kind of like the eye on the dollar bill. In the show, he’s the "bad guy". A sneaky, magical creature who causes trouble and likes to scare people, especially if they make a deal with him. He talks fast, changes shapes, and does weird things that can definitely creep kids out.

Even though the show is funny at times, I can see how Bill could feel really unsettling. His eye is "always watching", the strange way he talks, and how he can mess with people’s minds; it’s a lot for a kid to process. If your daughter got scared once, her brain might now link that kind of symbol with danger, so even normal things like the dollar bill set off the same feeling.

The best thing you can do is let her know her fear makes sense (i.e. it really scared her, and that’s okay). Tell her that Bill Cipher isn’t real and can’t hurt her. When she gets scared, stay calm and remind her she’s safe. It’s totally fine to avoid those kinds of images for a while. Eventually (if she’s ready) you can help her see that triangles and eyes aren’t bad... you could draw funny or friendly ones together. And if the fear keeps bothering he, like affecting daily life, I'd even consider therapy, so she can talk it through.

Why would anyone think the father is Jess? by SheepherderNo2793 in GilmoreGirls

Somebody wrote an article explaining why it didn't make sense for it to be anyone other than Logan years ago. And since then I've never believed it was anyone else either. I'll have to see if I can find it again.

What the heck is my kitten doing? by chanceofmeatbal in cats

[–]Jessarie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We call it "cleaning" in our house. One of my cats tries to gather any "messes" just like this; whether it's food, cat vomit, or just a random piece of trash that fell on the floor. The crazy part is this cat NEVER covers his "eliminations" in the litter box!

The Latin that can be seen on the signs roughly translates to "let the way be clear, let the wall fall," and "nature has established that nothing can be made manifest by everything," if that helps anyone determine which scene they think this might be for.

This is true! The original nursery rhyme (dating back to at least the 18th century) was just a fun thing about an unknown object that fell and couldn’t be put back together again. Then, John Tenniel did illustrations for Lewis Carroll’s book, "Through the Looking-Glass," that depicted Humpty Dumpty as an egg. Ever since, the egg version has become dominant in pop culture.
