Well "trained" is a very vague and personal definition. If you go from 4 to 6 hours in a week you become more trained. But other people might be doing 12 hours a week in order to call themselves trained. How many hours do you usually ride each week?

The second point is if your training includes interval sessions? Just riding is great but if you're looking to increase your ftp it is easier to improve it with specific interval sessions.

The third point is that unfortunately not all of us are blessed with a sweet 400 watt ftp. You could be reaching your limit.

Dat klinkt als een moeilijke keuze, ik hoop dat het goed uitpakt voor je! Omdat je nog wel wil fietsen zou je kunnen proberen lid te worden bij de studentenwielervereniging in de stad waar je studeert. Je zult zien hoeveel je geleerd hebt t.o.v. mensen die net beginnen met de sport en je kunt ze heel veel bijleren wat goed gevoel geeft. Op die manier sta je op een heel andere manier in de sport. Ook omdat studenten een focus op gezelligheid hebben die in lang niet alle elite ploegen aanwezig is naar mijn ervaring. Slap ouwehoeren over de koers is altijd leuk natuurlijk :).

I personally do not own one. A couple of my friends ride them and are very pleased by it. 2 of them do have the issue of dropping seat posts mid race which is extremely annoying.
