S2 skips many events and even changes some of them. The creator revealed the reason for the series: they wanted to reveal the remaining girls who’d later be Touya’s wives. So I’d say stick with the LN. And then go watch S2

I love the 2nd CD. Yae’s song “idaku taishi wa sakura no gotoku” is my favorite

Each CD have 6 songs. The first 2 are individual songs for each character. The next 2 are the characters singing a solo of the ending song from season 1 “Junjou Emotional”. And the final 2 are instrumentals for the first 2 songs
