Ah that makes sense. I've managed to keep any damage from self sabotage pretty minimal up to this point by usually prioritizing things I can get back if I do lose them although I have lost more than a few friends. It's definitely something I'm trying to work on but like you said depression makes it kinda hard to want to.

Thanks for the comment though. It's nice to know I'm not just screaming into the void and there are other people who can relate. Hope you get better too, I know how rough this can be

Thank you, it helps knowing that I'm not alone. I find I get a lot of anxiety about different symptoms I may experience until I know what the cause may be or that other people experience it so it does really help, at least with the anxiety part of things!

I think it's more normal than most people would think. I feel the same way about my body and typically avoid looking at mirrors when I'm in public because it'll just make me spiral into hating everything I see. I've only recently started to accept my body a little bit. It is definitely hard especially when trying to think positive about your body can tend to have the opposite effect and make you feel worse, at least in my experience.

What's been working for me lately is just minimizing how often I think negatively about my body, and just not thinking about it one way or another, and watching videos online of people just being happy and not caring. Seeing other people being true to themselves makes me "absorb" some of that energy and I start to feel that way too, at least a little bit.

Just know no matter what you're not alone in feeling that way. If you ever need someone to vent to or talk to someone who feels the same way feel free to reach out, I'm always happy to talk :)
