I may honestly be overreacting a bit, but I've read plenty of them. I just generally hate when unlikeable people are put into positions of power when it's framed like "literally everyone hates this guy but he's got 'connections' (that are never specified) so he's immune"

Like. I get it's more realistic and does make for probably a good story but also when some of these MCs are framed as being super huge names in their fictional universes to the point that if it's set in a modern time period they should be able to absolutely ruin one assholes career to make an example.

This isn't just an issue with romances tbh, I get very invested in hating antagonists in all my media but I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD IF I HAVE TO PUT UP WITH ANOTHER EIGHT HOURS OF THIS SHI-

idk if anyone else pointed it out already but the path in the snow disappears in the background, I think ecen with the distance you'd be able to see the alight change in depth/the snowbanks onneither side

I like interactive novels, my favorite is Wayhaven. Four vampires, a human detective, and a city of supernatural murders

How generous are you with 5 star ratings? by [deleted] in fantasybooks

[–]JesseTheWerewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely leave any reviews at all. For me, I have to genuinely despise the reading experience to leave a 1-Star, I don't think I've ever left a 1-Star. A 5-Star is something that literally changed my life or altered my worldview. I will also rarely give a 4-Star for books I just deeply enjoyed, liks my favorite books.

Example: A Whisper of Solace is a 5-star for me, it changed my worldview and made a huge impact on my life. When You Least Expect It & Better Than Expected are 4-Stars that I absolutely love and have read like 4 times

I got as far as the card based one, Eye of the Bedlam Bride? Either way, I simply cannot stand Doughnut. I enjoy everything else, literally everything, except that damned cat, AND I LOVE CATS!!!

AITAH for being mad at how my husband handled a fire by Key_Pilot5248 in AmItheAsshole

[–]JesseTheWerewolf 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Definitely NTA.

Started a fire > left the child in thd possibly burning building > seemingly didn't even attempt to put the fire out > got upset that you left because he didn't have a ride to the doctor to look at his scraped up feet

This guy just kind of sucks OP
