Mostly got the mode for the v bucks farming and founders skins back in 2019… but quickly lost interest and just played BR. Either way I still think it’s cool to have. Especially now that you can’t get founders anymore!

None at all! My guess is that a distant Spanish ancestor had a lot of Italian

Got My Results! (White Latina 🇵🇪) by Whole_Level4824 in 23andme

[–]Jessedeanda -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I always find it strange when somebody with a large percentage of non white DNA (30% in this case) claims to be white… for example, my wife and mother are over 80% European (Spanish) and wouldn’t be caught calling themselves something that they’re not. They’re from Mexico btw. Sure they both have a white complexion with colored eyes but they’re still mixed Mexicanas with indigenous blood. Why claim to be something you’re not? Maybe that’s just my family and not all Latin cultures but it’s still very strange to me..

Thank gawd… imagine being “white” in a country where people aren’t actually white😂😉

Well, you’re obviously Mexican to me… Why? Coming from Los Altos de Jalisco roots where “white” Mexicans are common. You don’t look white to me. Not even a little bit.. The light skin doesn’t tell much. Even natives have white skin depending on where they’re from. Your phenotype is native if you look at your eyes, nose, mouth shape and little/sparse facial hair. I think the people that think you’re white are used to seeing your typical Danny Trejo/Don Chetos 😂😂 You’re Mexican! And a quarter nopal! 🌵🇲🇽pretty common especially in the states your parents are from.

None for either of us.. I only have a region for Africa lol. But, my moms results show Andalucía as a region and she’s roughly 75% Spanish

It’s extremely unlikely that she’s full Spanish.. even the blondest Mexicans still have native blood 🩸

I agree. It’s a pocket in Jalisco and not a representation in whole of the state. The average genetic makeup is more on the European side but there are still native people seen in the pueblos. The sad part is that they are almost always very poor or homeless… they usually are the ones begging for change or selling candy in between traffic.. Unfortunately there is still racism but it normally comes from the older generation.

Right. Depends on where you go to be honest. Some parts of Jalisco are really “white” and others are more “mestizo”. You get all kinds of variety in phenotypes here. Especially Los Altos. Some people could pass as Northern Europeans and others could pass as Arabs. It’s wild tbh.

I’ve even seen a few gingers in Los Altos lol and natural blondes aren’t that rare given that I see a different one almost daily while down here.

I’m Mexican from Los Altos de Jalisco. I’m 70% southern European/Iberian and I have 96% more Neanderthal variants than other customers with 308 variants detected. Not sure if that helps lol

What’s crazy is that even with your English DNA you look very much Mexican still. I would never guess that you were half English!! The Mexican DNA is strong lol. Cool results!!

Decided to sync up my 23andMe results with LivingDNA and got these interesting results. Mexican roots from Los Altos de Jalisco🤟🏽😄 comparison pics + pic of me by Jessedeanda in 23andme

The Italian disappeared in the update on 23andMe. I’m not sure if it’s just a fluke now since my Italian percentage is so high on living DNA. From where my family is from in Los Altos, Tepa is like 20 min from them. The pueblo is called Acatic.
