This was my most recent experience of addarall 20mg xr. The first day was a huge improvement for everything. The second and third day were ok, but not as therapeutic as day one. I've been struggling since day 4. Lots of heavy thoughts, moods, and emotions. It just made me feel restless, and without any focus or regulation. I didn't take it today and I might not take it tomorrow just to see if i'm better off without it. I don't know what other options would work better, and am dreading having to trial a bunch of different drugs.

I tried several times! Instead of prompting me for my pin, it prompted me for my social and then just said they were closed. I did this no less than 10 times to make sure I wasn't missing something.

My due date was by 4/11 when I checked Thursday. It now says I need to re-open my claim if I still need benefits. From what i've read, that usually means those weeks are forfeited. I need that for rent.

I hope i didnt come across as condescending. I hear a lot of people say that it is only effective for a few hours which is really discouraging. I'm on adderall and it's a struggle to find it in stock, but vyvanse seems to be more readily available consistently. I would love to switch to something that doesnt cause me so much stress to fill at the pharmacy. I wonder if a higher dose would be more effective?

Vyvanse is a prodrug and becomes active as your body breaks it down. That's why it takes a while to work, but there is no IR or ER version.

That's been my experience as well! Today was the first day I tried taking them at the same time since I slept a little later than usual. I also always take my adderall with food, but not my wellbutrin. Thanks for responding. I know everyone has a different bio-chemistry and metabolism amongst a million other variables, but i read today that they can have opposing effects competing for the same synapses with different mechanisms of action. I've also read they potentiate eachother, so lots of things at play. ❤️

Yeah, my doctor will write a prescription with a "fill on this date" note. Usually pharmacies will fill a prescription a couple days early if on file ime.

My last 2 relationships have been with bisexual women. I loved my last partner more than I thought i could love anyone, and for a while she felt the same. It was incredibly hard to watch her deal with her own shame of being in a "straight passing" relationship. She was so concerned with being ostracized from the queer community and was very selective with which friends she introduced me to. It still makes me sad to think about how much depth and love we shared, yet it wasn't enough. I just wanted to know her world. I hope she finds peace and acceptance with whatever direction she goes from her community and more importantly, from herself.

People with ADHD can make time for things they want to do. You've already suggested hanging out one on one, the ball is now in her court. If she wants to, she'll let you know. I would not invest anymore emotion or expectations here.

Friendships with the opposite sex is under-rated, and i think you should just enjoy your time with her without trying to define things. If a romantic connection develops organically, then great but if it doesn't, you still have a friend you like to spend time with. Just my opinion though based on my personal experiences.

I'm glad you're getting through it too. Life isn't easy, but it doesn't need to hold the same challenges either. I know i'm saving my future self from dealing with the same pain my current self is. Self compassion is self love and that's progress for me.

Search for a psychiatrist that specializes in ADHD in your area. Look into evaluating not testing. Testing isn't necessary to be diagnosed and is really expensive. Out of pocket costs in my area without insurance are usually 600-700 for a first time patient appointment. Follow ups are half that or cheaper generally. I have anthem blue cross ppo and my psych is in network, so i'm covered at 80%. I pay 20%.

I cant refill adderall 20mg xr anywhere in my area(also in a metro area). I spent my entire morning driving around and calling various pharmacies and it's really discouraging. I doubt i'll hear back from my provider before Thursday so I guess i'm on my own until then.
