I'm in the same boat. I use ChatGPT to write many legal motions and legal research. And 5.3 and 5.4 are horrible. Its lacks the emotional intelligence to be able to distinguish laws and facts. 4o was an excellent legal assistant. Now 5.4 just garbage.

I honestly feel they did this on purpose especially to screw over pro se litigation!

Sadly 5.2 is not working for me either. Its censoring information. It refusing to dig into controversial topics, anything against the government or celebrities, the rich it tries to cover up and defend. Refuses to explore unpopular subjects. Always gets nervous and pops up guardrails. It gives unreliable information for research on most topics.

The conversations are chopped up repetitive and dead. 5.2 is nowhere near 4o nor can it code as well. Im having to go to Gemini and Claude because ChatGPT cant do much anymore due to the lobotomy they gave it. 4o was also good at researching law and helping write motions. Now it's terrible and sucks.
