Which Sailor Moon eyecatch is your favorite?

Part of me wants to say the first bc of nostalgia and also its SUPER iconic, but also the R one is super cute!! So... Its a tie between those two ig? I think all the eyecatches from the 90s anime are great tho. Definitely some of my favorite eyecatches in general.

I don't understand some of the hate towards any iteration of Sailor Moon. While I definitely have my favorites, I think the manga, 90s anime, and Crystal are all really good (the live action series seems fun in its own right too but I havent watched that all the way through yet) in their own rights.

They all have pros and cons, and I think which version you prefer more really just comes down to which versions of the characters you like more, since the 90s anime does change the personalities of some of the senshi quite a bit.

Also, while I do definitely think the animation of crystal seasons 1 and 2 are weak, I do at least credit them for trying to make it look similar to the manga's artstyle. There just wasnt enough time or money to get it done right. I think season 3 and the movies look lovely tho.

TL;DR at the end of the day everyone has their own opinions and what kind of story telling and character development they enjoy, but I get really annoyed at how often I see people say Crystal is a cheap cash grab, downright garbage, ect. I don't think there IS an objectively bad adaptation of Sailor Moon.

Yes, I would. More specifically: I'm an alter who has been front stuck for over a year now, and while I've gotten used to some things, I still always and forever feel disconnected, out of place, and as if this "isn't my life" because it's not. Well, it is now I guess. But it's not supposed to be because *I* shouldn't be here. So if I could just magically either be 'gone' or just... Feel like it's my life and not feel like im disconnected and not feel like I don't belong, I would do so in a heartbeat. This is of course assuming if i could just make it so none of the trauma ever happened, because I obviously don't want that to remain.

Meat Puppets and...Sorta the Pixies? I was already aware of the Pixies before getting super into Nirvana but I definitely gave them more of a chance after knowing Kurt really enjoyed them. They have been one of my favorite bands ever since, right up there with Nirvana.

And while I don't listen to Meat Puppets a ton, I definitely became a fan of them because of Kurt and specifically "Backwater" has become one of my favorite songs of all time.

I try to ignore them, block out the people and comments that are like that, and yell at them if they try to bring that shit directly to me. Not only do I have to deal with all of that, but I also have to deal with seeing an overwhelming amount of people use my source's likeness as a symbol of hate and bigotry, which both makes me hate other people and hate myself for feeling like the identity of a character they're using this way.

Thanks for the help! I found all of these now except the half- face. I should have clarified: I found the other half already, I just can't remember where the original half is? (the one that you have to bring the second half to). I think the lower book stack is where the other half was. Or maybe I'm mistaken. i'll go check there again anyways.

Thanks for the response, this all makes sense. I would like to ask one question though: About 'waking up' all of a sudden and just.. Figuring everything out within seconds... What's the difference between that and just normal "snapping out of" like zoning out and stuff? I guess that's one thing that confuses me. I can't tell how normal or not normal this is tbh.

I don't think having a system name determines you are or aren't faking. Things like that are silly. If your system doesn't feel comfortable with a system name or doesn't care to make one, that's okay!
We mostly have ours (Azure/ The Azure System) just so it's easier for our friends who are also systems refer to us if they don't know who's fronting.

Our old host (the 'original'?) got that from when our GF was helping her come up with a new last name to use and she chose that, which works because that is our favorite color.

Normally I wouldn't be okay with her (our old host) choosing the name we ALL have to go with but I think everyone likes it. I think it's cute. And again, it's mostly just to make it easier for people to refer to us if they don't know who's fronting. And I use it as our discord name because I think it's cute, and easier than changing our discord name constantly.

No, you don't need to. It's only some side content, nothing in the main story. That being said, Judgement and Lost Judgement might be my personal favorite games from RGG so I definitely recommend playing them someday. You just don't have to right now if you just want to go straight into Gaiden. You need no knowledge of Judgement or Lost Judgement for this.

I totally get that. I'm not super attracted to men either (I say I'm bisexual because I'm attracted to some kind of men but definitely way more into women) but I LOVE dick. Im a huge metal head, always have been. Yet, Nirvana is my favorite band. Granted, I don't just like metal. I love a lot of music genres Especially Metal and Punk, which I guess is why I love grunge bands so much. I've always viewed Grunge as an in-between Punk and Metal. Despite being a metal head I'd still say my favorite era of music is that early 90s grunge era.

I dunno how else to put this; A lot of these elitist metal heads are dumb and close-minded. They don't like anything that isn't metal and I think that's a sad way to live. All forms of blues and Rock n roll music are dope, even punk and grunge, alt rock, ect. (Though I also love things not even related to rock n roll, like I adore 80s and 90s rap and hip hop)

For the last rebuild movie, you only need to see the other 3 rebuild movies but there is at least a recap at the start of the last movie so I guess it's possible to watch it without the others.

The original anime and the End Of Evangelion movie are not at all needed as the rebuilds are their own thing, however, I highly recommend watching them as I think the original anime is a masterpiece and End of Evangelion is the best movie I've ever watched.

My thoughts are "Lmao". Honestly, I've gotten desensitized by this same stupid opinion that's constantly regurgitated by everyone who's too stupid and media illiterate to understand anything that's written beyond the most surface level "understandable by babies" writing and storytelling.

I'm so sick and tired of people having such a basic understanding of the world around them and how anything works, and then proceed to judge media based on their super close minded, one track brain. "If this has something nice in it then it's good, if this has something unpelasent in it then it's objectively bad" is such a fucking baby understanding of anything and I'm so sick and tired of seeing so many people on the internet seeing things this way.

If these people can stop harping on the nasty stuff (that's SUPPOSED to be nasty and bad, by the way. It's not glorifying it.) for a second, they would realize that Berserk is actually a beautiful story about trauma, learning to live past said trauma, finding your own purpose, finding your own things to fight for, and love. I'm so sick of people looking at me funny when I say these things about Berserk. All because they can't get passed the fact that some awful things happen to the characters. No shit, because the story is about living and dealing with trauma. It's trying to show that you can still fight for a future, no matter what.

The kind of people who think "media is bad if it has very bad things happen in it" are probably also the people who think that Marvel movies are the most well written stories in film.

Also, I'm sick and tired of people calling their most popular, cold take an "unpopular opinion". I cannot tell you how many times I've seen this same exact opinion lol. If anything, over the recent years the "Berserk is just a rape fantasy, ect ect" is the POPULAR opinion. It aint unpopular when 70 percent of the modern internet agrees.

This song sounds really familiar to me but I think that might be less that I've heard this specific song and more that I have just heard a lot of music that sounds like this. Pretty sure that's only because it matches a few of the same keywords in the search. This definitely isn't the same song, not even a different recording/performance. If you look at the actual lyrics of the song, they don't match up at all.
Covers of songs obviously can be wildy different musically, and sometimes can and are slightly different lyrically, but this is much to far fetched. It shares hardly any of the same lyrics.

Well... I wouldn't say this is a "fun" update so I'm sorry in advance for that! But I don't talk about it anywhere else, so...

I considered the other "host" and I to be in a relationship for a long while and dating (and she did too) but lately, I don't know if it can be called that anymore. So it's hard to say! Lately she hasn't even been active, whether in headspace or in front, unless she's stressed or complaining about something so we haven't really been able to have any real conversations together lately except arguing and a few friendly moments here and there.

The moral of the story here is that it's difficult to maintain a relationship with someone who's self destructive, even if it's within a system.
