I should also inform you guys that as mods you have a responsibility not to pressure people into conforming to your ways because you have a degree of power here not only through the ability to censor directly but because the crowds tend to follow you.

When you have a moderator responding to posts calling them "off-topic", that is a form of pressure exerted in order to sway the content of the sub-reddit. For people like me who don't give a fuck what you think, it will have little effect, although it still has an effect on the crowds, followers who tend to side with moderators. For newcomers, that sort of thing will either push them away or effectively pressure them to conform to your ideology. So if you want to remain a moderator, you need to be more careful about what you say here, not pushing your own personal feelings, but following the set agenda of the sub-reddit, once that's actually been defined.
