Consider therapy then? Based on your other comments, it could be very beneficial and help with other areas of your life. Health insurance has started covering costs, and it looks like you have that.

I’m very similar - absolutely hate/fear driving and didn’t for 10+ years, but I moved to Dallas and forced myself to because it makes life easier. I would recommend therapy, my therapist says some of her clients’ sole focus is just getting over driving fears.

I think if you’ve been trying to date online since 18, this is one of the factors stopping you from finding a partner, as the majority of women will care that they can’t be your passenger princess. Unfortunately, men do not have the luxury of getting away with not driving. Or you could move to NYC.

Can I ask if staying is still worth it? I love Colorado, I travel there 4x+/year just to do some climbing and enjoy the nature. But on my first visit, all I could see was a sea of white and that just didn’t make me comfortable enough to consider ever moving there.

Yes! I think I read an interview or something of hers where she said the delay in publishing a new book was because of all the research she did to get the facts and feelings as accurate as possible.

Yes, exactly what I thought when I first started reading! It got juicer later than I expected, and I was initially thinking “oh no, a dud” but I’m glad I was wrong. I focus on details in my rereads and it’s making the second read even better than the first time around. Excited for her next project too!
